Tanushree out of 'Mr. Fraud'

Tanushree Dutta has been dropped from Abbas Mustan's next 'Mr. Fraud' with Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan and Bipasha Basu. However, Tanushree Dutta says that she is not dejected. The actress claims that she is quite happy at the fact that the director duo has given her another film in exchange of this one. Says Dutta, "My role in 'Mr. Fraud' was insignificant. They tried to work it out but it didn't shape up too well. It's better not to take up half-baked things. Abbas Mustan told me that since I have just started getting films with substantial roles, an insignificant role would adversely affect my image. So, they promised me another film instead which will materialize soon," she adds.Well, we hope that the other film really does materialize.

Ghai's suggestion to Tanushree

Tanushree Dutt has put on some weight. Absolutely no problem with that but the perfectionist Subhash Ghai apparently told categorically to Dutta to shed some flab so that she could fit into the 'item girl' mode. Ghai had signed Dutta for a special song in 36 China Town. Dutta later took Ghai's suggestions quite seriously and finally bagged the song – but not without some hard work! And now she is finished another film with him Good Boy Bad Boy… Now how will she describe Ghai?

His Himesh Reshamiyya mixes are big hits and now deejay Akbar Sami is venturing into composing music for films.

I’ve already recorded two songs and the music will be ready for release soon,” he says. Choreographer Ganesh Acharya, who had worked earlier with Akbar, suggested his name to the film’s director Vishram Sawant. “Vishram showed me a few scenes and gave me full freedom,” says Akbar.
According to him it’s an out and out commercial album. “The soundtrack is very up tempo with a lot of sound effects. It has been exciting doing the tracks,” he says.

Tanushree has a bodyguard

Tanushree Dutta now joins the league of actresses who are escorted by their bodyguards wherever they go. Mallika Sherawat was the first one to hire the services of security guards, followed by Celina Jaitley and then Sameera Reddy.Dutta says, an incident at the inauguration of a Delhi exhibition last month, prompted her to take this decision. Though the organizers tried to provide enough security, it fell short. There were too many people in the crowd. It got so scary that she had to be whisked away through the back gate and escorted to her hotel room, where she was confined to giving media interviews.

Tanushree Dutta was so stressed out that she began losing weight
Tanushree Dutta has lost some weight. When asked what's the matter; she replied, "Its just stress. There were offers coming my way some of which I took on, and later wondered how I would over cope. I was so stressed out that I began losing weight. I was even slimmer than this some time ago. Thankfully, everything seems to be taking care itself."
Tanushree Dutta would love to have a pet dog
Tanushree Dutta would love to have a pet, especially a dog. Here she tells us a story about it. "My sister and I have always wanted a pet dog ever since we were kids. However, my mother won't allow it. She once told us, 'You can have either the dog or me in the house. You can't have both. And we obviously made our choice'," laughs Tanu.
IndiaGlitz - It's the turn of Shahid-Tanushree now - Bollywood Hindi Movie News
After a sizzling chemistry demonstrated by Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor in '36 China Town' and 'Chup Chup Ke', its the turn of Shahid to woo Tanushree Dutta.
No, it's a not a new movie that the two have signed but a song for '36 China Town' where Dutta makes a special appearance. An introduction song of Shahid Kapoor, 'Jab Kabhi' is a sugar coated melody soaked love song that has been picturised in exotic locations and boats of some classy choreography. All this while we have been maintaining that there is more to the music of '36 China Town' than just 'Aashique' and finally the call has been heard with the full length music video of 'Jab Kabhi' being on air.
No doubt the song looks stunning on screen and should silence the critics who believe that Himesh Reshammiya's songs sound best only when sung by him as 'Jab Kabhi' is rendered by Kunal Ganjawala and Alka Yagnik

Apparently she was wearing high heels and accidentally missed a step. She fell onto the ground and burst into tears. However, after a while she continued with the shooting without any complains though she was still in pain. This went on for the next 15 days but her dazzling smile was prevalent throughout the shoot despite her agony. Now that’s what we call a good sport.

Riya Sen, Koena Mitra and Tanushree Dutta caught in a fracas

Bengali beauties Riya Sen and Koena Mitra are working together in Subhash Ghai’s film Apna Sapna Money Money. However as usual when two beautiful actresses are in one film, there is bound to be a clash of egos and catfights. According to sources from the film, Koena and Riya too don’t see eye to eye on many occasions. The sources also claim that Koena suddenly started developing an inferiority complex and in a fit of jealousy started spreading rumours on the sets that Riya has had a face lift. It was also claimed that Riya too later made allegation of Koena herself having a face-lift. However according to director of the film, Sangeth Sivan, Koena herself was looking different after a hiatus from the shooting schedule. At the music launch of Ghai’s film Shaadi Se Pehle, both actresses were present for the event. Director Sivan says “I did ask Koena what she had done to her face, as she was looking different from the last time I saw her. But Koena said that as she had extracted a tooth, her face was swollen.” However the director claimed that rumours were doing the rounds of the sets, that she had a face lift. Riya on her part refused to state whether she and Koena were friends or if they had a cordial relationship with each other. Riya states “My face is my fortune and I wouldn’t do anything to it even if I were given a billion dollars. If Koena is spreading rumours that I have had a face-lift it speaks volumes about her insecurity.”However Koena Mitra on her part says “It is Riya who is going around maligning me and talking against me. I don’t know what her problem is, or why she is doing this, but I have nothing against her. Riya is a very sweet and pretty girl. I know she’s been telling people that I am saying that she’s had plastic surgery, but that’s totally untrue. Why would I say something like that?” On the issue of undergoing plastic surgery, Koena claims that she will consider it as a compliment that people think she has undergone surgery to look good, because it is her complete natural look. The next day Riya sent Koena an SMS saying that she thought Koena was spreading rumours about her having a face lift, but later she got to know that it was Tanushree Datta who was responsible for the rumours. However Tanushree who is busy shooting for Vikram Bhatt’s Risk says “I don’t know why my name has unnecessarily got dragged into this ongoing controversy.” Tanushree claims that she and Riya were friends earlier on and would hang out together and even party together, but she stopped speaking to Riya about six months back. Tanushree claims that the reason she stopped talking to her was because she found out that Riya was talking badly about her to common friends, colleagues, producers and even journalists. Adds Tanushree “The day I got proof of her talking behind my back, I just decided to completely cut her off from my life. I did not confront Riya as there is no point, it will have no impact on her and she will just go back to her nasty ways.”Tanushree claims that Koena sent her Riya’s message at 3 am in the morning, she claims that she is very upset with Riya’s message and appalled as Riya has unknowingly put the blame onto her. She has also confirmed that Koena and she have spoken on the issue at hand. Why such beautiful and talented actresses need to resort to such back biting and bitching, nobody knows, is it their egos and insecurities that make them take such drastic steps? According to most people these rumours of the face-lift are merely fabricated lies and the actresses are just using the publicity to keep themselves in the lime light. However according to another report Koena Mitra is planning on suing a certain section of the media for falsely reporting that she has undergone plastic surgery.According to us both actresses need to grow up if they want to continue to be a part of bollywood.
